Size of the solar thermal system

If additional heating support is required, you should expect 2.5 square meters. In addition, you need a storage tank, for which you should calculate a volume of around 80 liters per person. In the case of solar thermal systems, however, standard values alone are not meaningful enough. The result of the profitability calculation also depends on how much heat you need and the price at which you currently obtain it. Get advice on site and calculate which collector area offers the best balance between the costs saved with the energy supplier and the additional investment in the solar thermal system.
