Product overview

The electric heating element is a powerful heating cartridge with insulated insulation, ideally suited for use in buffer tanks, domestic hot water tanks, and enamelled solar storage tanks. With its 1½" male thread connection, it is easy to install and integrates seamlessly into existing systems.

Structure and Function

The heating element consists of a corrosion-resistant tube sheath material (Incoloy825), which ensures maximum reliability even in continuous operation. The insulating separation reliably prevents galvanic corrosion within the storage tank.

A continuously adjustable thermostat allows the temperature to be selected between 30 °C and 75 °C. The integrated safety temperature limiter (STB) automatically activates at 98 °C, thus protecting against overheating.

Application areas

The heating element is universally applicable in buffer tanks and domestic hot water storage tanks, as well as in enamelled steel storage tanks in solar and heating systems. It can also be easily integrated as an emergency heating system for photovoltaic systems.

Thanks to the high-quality Incoloy825 alloy, the heating cartridge offers outstanding corrosion resistance and a long service life. The insulating separation also ensures safe operation without electrochemical reactions in the storage tank.

With a continuously adjustable thermostat and a fixed safety temperature limiter, the device offers high flexibility and maximum protection against overheating.

Assembly instructions

Installation is via the 1½" male thread connection. Ensure a suitable installation length and storage tank diameter to guarantee safe and effective heat transfer.

Before commissioning, you should check that the safety temperature limiter is working correctly and that all electrical connections have been made professionally.
